Champions League 2024/25 League Phase Fully Scheduled

May 17, 2023. The UEFA Champions League 2024/25 league phase has been fully scheduled, with the group stage fixtures released. The competition will begin on September 10, 2024, and the final will be held on June 7, 2025, at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.

Group Stage Draw

The draw for the group stage will be held on August 29, 2024, in Istanbul. The 32 teams that have qualified for the group stage will be placed into four pots, based on their UEFA coefficients. The pots will be as follows:

• Pot 1: Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Real Madrid, AC Milan
• Pot 2: Liverpool, Chelsea, Barcelona, Juventus
• Pot 3: Inter Milan, Napoli, RB Leipzig, Tottenham Hotspur
• Pot 4: Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Sporting CP, Porto

Format

The group stage will consist of eight groups of four teams. Each team will play two matches against each other team in their group, one home and one away. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.

Knockout Stage

The knockout stage will begin with the round of 16, which will be played over two legs on February 18/19 and March 4/5, 2025. The quarter-finals will be played on April 1/2 and April 8/9, 2025, the semi-finals on April 29/30 and May 6/7, 2025, and the final on June 7, 2025.

Broadcast

The UEFA Champions League will be broadcast live on BT Sport in the United Kingdom, CBS Sports in the United States, and DAZN in Germany and Austria. In India, the rights to broadcast the Champions League are yet to be sold.
