The Easiest Way to Remove Acrylic Nails Fast
Materials You'll Need
- 100% pure acetone
- Cotton balls
- Aluminum foil
- Nail clippers
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Soak Your Nails in Acetone
* Apply 100% pure acetone to a cotton ball and place it on your acrylic nail. * Wrap your nail tightly in aluminum foil to keep the acetone in place.
2. Leave the Acetone on for 15-20 Minutes
* The acetone will work to dissolve the acrylic. * The longer you leave it on, the easier it will be to remove the acrylic.
3. Trim Down the Acrylic Nails
* Once the acetone has dissolved the acrylic, use nail clippers to trim down the acrylic nails as close to your natural nails as possible.
4. Peel Off the Acrylic Nails
* The acrylic nails should now peel off easily. * If there is any remaining acrylic, use a cuticle pusher or orange stick to gently remove it.
Tips
* Use 100% pure acetone, as it will dissolve the acrylic faster than lower-concentration acetone. * Be patient and allow the acetone to work for a full 15-20 minutes. * If the acetone is drying out, re-saturate the cotton balls with fresh acetone. * Do not use acetone on your natural nails, as it can damage them. * Do not use nail polish remover, as it will not dissolve acrylic.
